BARBARA HALE Born in DERBY England Homelands Grammar School, Derby Derbyshire Senior Art Scholarship Leicester College of Art NDD Graphic design, Illustration. 1953ATD 1953 Birmingham College of Art (Goldwork) 1953-55 Taught at Leek, School of Art, Staffordshire. 1955 Moved to London, married architect, Jan Siedlecki. 1961Twins born, son and daughter. 1961-75 freelance illustrator for National Press. Daily ‘INSTANT GOURMET’ for Daily Mail, Weekly Cookstrip for YORKSHIRE POST Freelance lecturer. 1975 Joined 62group of Textile artists 1979 Textile Mural for London borough of Hounslow Civic Centre. 1979 New York, International CLIO Award for Fashion Advertising,( Jaeger) 1980 Nominated Campaign Poster Awards. AOI, Best of British Illustration, Best of European Illustration. 1973 Competition Winner, ITT Telecommunications, Advertising Campaign. 1973-Present. Continues to exhibit personal work 2007 Retrospective Exhibition
